HISTORY BEHIND WHY PREMPEH COLLEGE STUDENTS CALL THEMSELVES, SENIORS

Prempeh College students call
themselves,SENIORS,is so simple. This is how that mantra was bred within the green land of Amanfoo.
The school was established in
February 1949 by the then Gold Coast
government
in collaboration with the Methodist and
Presbyterian missionaries and also the Ashanti
Royal Kingdom. In 1949, 50 boys from
Mfantsipim School and their headmaster Rev.
Sidney N. Pearson commenced the great College.
Since all of them were in the same FORM,no one
was
Senior,so the then Headmaster,Rev S.N. Pearson
referred all of them as SENIORS and it became
normality in the College up to date.
From that time up to this time and tomorrow, all students being
CURRENT or OLD BOY of PREMPEH
COLLEGE, he is referred as a SENIOR irrespective of the form or  social status of the person.
Since it is norm within Prempeh fraternity,I will
like
to urge all past and current students of our al
ma-
mater especially those on various social media to attach SENIOR or Snr in short to
their
names so that we will get to know ourselves very
easily and moreover to differ from other students.
Longlive Prempeh College !
Longlive Amanfoo !!
Longlive Seniors !!!
SENIORS !!! Raise your voices high.
